About Us

Hello everyone, I'm Nico Laurent M, Ceralde, 4th year BS Computer Science student from Cavite State University - Bacoor Campus. The sole purpose of this web application is for the wearable glove device translator for the hearing and speaking impaired individuals. In this website, the users/patients will be able to see the translation/interpretation depending on the sign language that the glove they wear. Each letter in the American Sign Language except J and Z corresponds to different phrases that are uttered by the hearing and speaking impaired patients. The aims of this study is to bridge the communication gap between the hearing and speaking impaired and non-impaired individuals, since not all are knowledgeable with sign languages that are used by these patients, therefore, we have created and developed a device in which it can translate a letter from the American Sign Language into a phrase.
